- French to English. My primary service. I translate into English as a near-native speaker of both languages, which means the English reads naturally and does not carry the stiffness of a machine or dictionary-led translation.
- English to French. Available, with care taken to preserve nuance and register rather than produce a literal equivalent. I am explicit about any areas where a native metropolitan speaker would phrase something differently.

Regional variants
I am always clear about which variant I am working in and will flag it in the finished translation if relevant.
- Français métropolitain. The default for all my translations. This is the standard for formal, academic, and professional contexts in France and internationally.
- Quebec French. Available on request, with clear flagging in the output. I will note where a term or phrasing is specifically Quebec rather than metropolitan.
- Lebanese French. Suited to informal and culturally-nuanced contexts, particularly where warmth of tone or specific francophone Lebanese idiom matters. I grew up in a Lebanese francophone environment and know this variant well.
- Swiss and Belgian French. I can work with texts from these regions and flag regional specifics, though my primary fluency sits in metropolitan and Lebanese French.

Do you translate sworn or certified documents?
Not personally. Sworn translation (sometimes called traduction assermentée in French) is a legally recognised certification required for certain official submissions, such as immigration applications, court documents, or some academic institutions. It must be carried out by a qualified sworn translator who is officially registered.
If your document requires sworn certification, I will tell you clearly at the outset and point you towards finding a qualified sworn translator. I can still help with preparation and context around the process, and for documents that do not require official certification, my translation service is fully appropriate.
Will my documents be kept confidential?
Completely. I do not outsource, I do not use public machine-translation tools with your content, and your documents are handled only by me. I treat all client material as confidential as a matter of course, regardless of what is in it.
If your document contains sensitive personal, commercial, or legal information, and you would like additional reassurance, I am happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before we begin. Simply mention it when you get in touch and I will arrange it before anything is shared.

For formal, legal, or highly sensitive texts going into French, I will give you an honest assessment of whether you would benefit from an additional native-speaker review on top of my translation.
